**Important information on M Des DAT and interview**
In light of the ongoing national situation, we understand the concerns regarding safety and the travel challenges faced by many of the M.Des aspirants. Considering the well-being and safety of both students and their families, the Department of Design has decided to revise the M.Des Regular (MoE), Self-Sponsored and M.Des by Practice selection criteria.

Ayaam 2025, Annual Design fest of DoD on April 25 -26
We are thrilled to invite you to the third edition of Ayaam, the annual design fest of IIT Hyderabad, a student-led initiative. This year, Ayaam explores the theme ‘Imperfect Imprints’, where we encourage moving beyond the pursuit of perfection and explore how it elevates design, making it more relatable, rooted, and humane. Design Lecture series 2024 inauguration
Department of Design announces the Design Lecture Series 2024 "Unchartered Paths". The first in series is a talk by Prof. S Balaram on 5th August 2024. The Series will bring experts from the academia and industry on a diverse set of topics related to design, also to mark the 10th year of the establishment of the Department of Design at IIT Hyderabad.
