How I will know whether I have been shortlisted or not?
Candidates will be communicated through email. It is important to share the correct email address and mobile number in the application form.
Do I have to travel to the campus for the DAT and Interview?
DAT (Design Aptitude Test) will be conducted online. Yes, for Personal Interview candidate will have to travel to the campus.
If I am travelling to the campus for Interview, will I get accommodation inside the campus?
No. Candidates must do their own arrangements. They can look for hotels in Sangareddy city (approximately 5km from the campus) or Hyderabad city which is around 30 km from the IITH campus.
Can I apply for both “CEED Qualified” and “Self-Financed” categories?
You can apply to multiple programs. However, you have to apply separately for each program.
Is the CEED qualified and self-financed a different course or the same?
Same course. However, if you are getting selected through CEED, you will get an institute scholarship and the fee structure will be different.
I will be completing my bachelors in June 2026, hence the result will be published sometime in July. While applying for the program, the qualifications section of the form asks for the UG passing year and Grade points obtained for the course. What should I fill for the same?

How many M Des specialisations can one apply at a time?
M Des Program offers three specialisations – 1. Visual Design 2. Interaction Design, 3.Product Design 4. Photography, Film & Animation Candidates can give their preferences (first and second) at the time of application.
What is an online screening test, and what will be the procedure?
it is to test the candidate’s Design Aptitude. The procedure will be shared with candidates through email who applied for the program.
