Bachelor of Design

Bachelor of Design (B Des) is a full-time undergraduate program in design. The B Des curriculum is designed as a four-level structure leading to a gradual movement from general foundational courses at the introductory level to specialized and detailed domains at the final stage. The students are encouraged to develop their own interest areas with design thinking, problem-solving, being creative and innovative as their core abilities. They will have the freedom to work in the areas of their interest in the core domains of design – Product Design, Visual Communication, and Interaction Design.

• Need an eligible UCEED score.

B Des + M Des Dual Degree

Department of Design offeres BDes + MDes Dual Dgree options based on performence under the following conditions.

• Based on CGPA + Portfolio, call by the end of 3rd year
• Application deadline: Last day of instruction of 6th Semester
• CGPA up to 6th semester will be considered for shortlisting

B Des to PhD

The Department also offers applications from BDes to convert to PhD based on performenace and strength of the research proposal under the follwoing conditions,

• A formal application must be submitted through the Head of the Department
• Application deadline: Last day of instruction of 6th Semester
• The conversion is also based on CGPA up to 6th semester
