Winner of Poster competition at Typoday 2022

Harsh Raj Gond (M.Des 21-23) is one among the winners of the Typoday 2022, organized by IDC, IIT Bombay. The Poster is a representation of Gond Art in the form of Type design. Coming from the Gond Art Community, he always wanted to create something for them to uplift the community. Here he creates letters inspired from Gond Art elements such as animals & nature. The letters are designed in intricate style just like the outlines of the figures in the paintings to resemble the feel of the Gond Community. He has also played with the Type and has given it a fun, catchy & stylized look. Overall the poster highlights the value of Gond art where typography meets the art form in a playful manner.
