A Typeface designed by Harsh Raj Gond to promote the revival of Gond art has won the Paris Design Awards in the category of Typography This project is about a Typeface designed to promote the revival of Gond art, a prominent and popular traditional tribal art form from Madhya Pradesh, India. Known for its distinctive style featuring bold lines and bright colors, Gond art often depicts animals, nature, gods and daily life stories. The typeface embodies the essence of Gond art by incorporating different animals into each letter. While every letter has a unique form, the consistent weight across the font creates a bold and eye-catching effect, enhanced by using outlines. The project ws guided by Prof. Mohammad Shahid.
