Selected pitch at the prestigious Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2025
M Des Final year student Rahul Chakraborty’s thesis film “DAAK” has been selected for the MIFA Pitch at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival 2025—one of the world’s most prestigious platforms for animation.
Rooted in the folklore of the Sundarbans, DAAK tells the story of a boy’s journey into the forest and his encounter with the mythical tiger deity, Dakshin Ray. The project, mentored by Prof. Delwyn Jude Remedios, blends regional mythology with ecological themes.
